Usage and diagnostics
Last updated: 2026-09-10
Help us improve the reliability and functionality of PrestaOne. Sharing usage data and additional technical event data is optional. You can use the app without enabling it; accepting the Terms of Service does not also give consent to this usage tracking. Operational crash and error reporting, including Sentry and native crashes, is separate and remains active independently of this choice.
What we collect
If you enable sharing, the app can send:
- Screens visited, named actions, demo entry/exit, and the steps reached in a flow.
- Operation outcomes, error codes and timings, with technical identifiers used to connect related events. We do not record text entered into forms.
- App version and build, update version, platform and device model.
Session events are linked to your PrestaOne account and a random session identifier. They are not anonymous. Authorised PrestaOne operators can use them to understand where a flow stopped and investigate a reported problem. We do not record your screen, passwords, authentication tokens, buyer details, message contents or full store business records.
Your choice
Both checkboxes start unchecked. Only acceptance of the Terms of Service is required to continue. You can change your optional choice in Settings → Usage and diagnostics. We save the choice, disclosure version, revision and time with your account.
New optional events are collected only after your saved consent is confirmed. On this device, turning sharing off immediately stops optional event collection and clears pending session events. If you are offline, the withdrawal is saved locally and retried when connectivity returns. Other signed-in devices refresh the account choice while active and when returning to the foreground. The backend rejects session batches with an outdated consent revision.
Withdrawal does not retrospectively delete reports already received. Session records are scheduled for deletion after 30 days, with daily cleanup. Local pending events are encrypted and limited to 1,000 events; they are also cleared on account change and app restart. Sentry error reports follow the retention described in our Privacy Policy.
What is separate from this choice
Account authentication, security and abuse prevention, store connection management, billing, and essential server-side records such as registration and successful pairing are necessary to operate the service and are not disabled by this optional setting. Public website analytics has its own independent cookie choice. Opening this page does not enable either kind of analytics. Sentry crash/error reporting and native crash handling also remain active; they are used for operational fault diagnosis, not as an alternative usage-event tracker.
We process optional usage and diagnostics data on the basis of your consent. MB "Elevio" is the controller. See our Privacy Policy for providers, retention, your rights and contact details. Questions or deletion requests: [email protected].
